PARADE
ENTRY RULES
The parade will be held
Saturday, August 7, 2004, at 11:00 a.m.
Line-up will be at 9:00 a.m.

You
MUST be registered prior to August 2, 2004, to participate in
the parade. Registration
forms may be mailed to the Homer Area Chamber of Commerce, PO
Box 201, Homer, MI 49245.

All
parade entries must be family oriented. Printed or verbal
statements made by participants or posted on the float, bicycle
or other entry must not be discriminatory towards age, race,
sex, gender, marital status, or physical/mental condition.

There
will be bicycle judging and float judging, as well as pet judging.

Parade
participants will be responsible for cleaning up any refuge created
by their parade entry. This includes all animal droppings.

Participants
must follow all guidelines as indicated by parade coordinators
to guarantee the safety of themselves and the parade audience.

All
pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Pet owners are
responsible for the safety and well being of other parade entrants
and the parade audience. The pet owner is responsible for
any injuries caused by their pet.

For
the safety of the public, no spiders, snakes or vicious animals
please.

Children
with pets must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
