This is an example of an Art I assignment of the sketch of the hand. This artist shows a firm grasp of the concept of lighting, as the hand appears to be backlit, and the outline of the hand is a glowing white, instead of the expected black outline. The background also shows a nice variation of shading, that causes this hand to seem more than human.
