If you have ever tried to paint a sunset before, or even to take a photo of one, you know how hard it is to capture the glow of the sun as it sets. It's hard to capture the way the light bounces off the edges of the clouds, and all of the hues in the sky from moment to moment. This artist has done a good job capturing this scene, which could be present, or from thousands of years ago, using oil pastels. This painting makes one think of the end of the day, and a time for rest.
